Besides the whole “support your local brewer” thing, Michigan breweries just keep getting better and better at their craft, year after year. Atwater is a great example — I have yet to try one of their beers that I didn’t like.</p> <p>Their Cherry Stout is no exception. I love stouts, but I’m not always a fan of the bitter taste stouts can have.
